6.4.7.3. AAS engine

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a plastic casing.
2. Mark and disconnect wires from the injecting pump. Disconnect ropes.
3. Disconnect fuel hoses from the pump.
4. Turn off nuts of connections and remove fuel tubes.
5. Remove a pump casing.
6. Establish the N1 cylinder piston in VMT.
7. Remove a driving belt.
8. Turn off a fixing nut of an asterisk of the pump and remove an asterisk by means of a stripper.
9. Turn off fixing bolts and remove the pump.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish injecting pump on a fixing arm and twirl fixing bolts.
2. Establish an asterisk / pulley and tighten a fixing nut.
3. Establish a driving belt.
4. Establish a cranked shaft of the engine and the pump in situation VMT. Weaken a fixing bolt of a back asterisk.
5. Remove an adjusting cap from the pump and establish the tsiferblatny sensor.
6. Establish an arrow of the sensor on 2 mm, then establish the pump piston before situation VMT, rotating a pump pulley.
7. Null the sensor. Slowly turn a back asterisk of the pump counter-clockwise while the sensor will not show 1,00±0,02 mm. This preliminary value.
8. Check, that the mark of VMT in the flywheel / leader a disk was combined with an opening in a transmission casing. Holding an asterisk, twirl a fixing bolt of an asterisk till the demanded moment of an inhaling.
9. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine on two turns and again combine marks in the flywheel/leader a disk and a transmission.
10. Take readings of the sensor and subtract the received value from preliminary value.
11. Again weaken a fixing bolt of a back asterisk.
12. Establish an arrow of the sensor on 2 mm, then establish the pump piston before situation VMT, rotating a pump pulley.
13. Null the sensor. Slowly turn a back asterisk of the pump counter-clockwise while the sensor will not show 1,00 mm plus a difference defined in point 10.
14. Check, that the mark of VMT in the flywheel / leader a disk was combined with an opening in a transmission casing. Holding an asterisk, twirl a fixing bolt of an asterisk till the demanded moment of an inhaling.
15. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine on two turns and again combine marks in the flywheel / leader a disk and a transmission.
16. Check, that the sensor showed 1,00±0,02 mm.
17. Remove the sensor and twirl a cap into place.
18. Connect fuel tubes, hoses and wires.
