6.4.7.2. ABP, AAT and AEL engines

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a casing of the injecting pump.
2. Establish the N1 cylinder piston in VMT. Mark the provision of a mark of VMT on a pump (1) pulley / asterisk in relation to the pump case. Mark position of the case in relation to a mark of VMT in a fixing arm (2).
3. Turn off a fixing bolt, holding an asterisk.
4. Hold a pulley of the injecting pump motionlessly by means of the similar tool.
5. Turn off a nut and remove an asterisk / pulley.
6. Remove a shponka.
7. Turn off nuts of connections and remove fuel tubes.
8. Close the ends of tubes.
9. Disconnect fuel hoses from the pump.
10. Mark and disconnect wires from the injecting pump.
11. Turn off fixing bolts and remove injecting pump from a fixing arm.

Installation and adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish injecting pump on a fixing arm, having combined adjusting marks (arrows).

2. Twirl fixing bolts (shooters).
3. Establish an asterisk / pulley and tighten a fixing nut.
4. Establish a driving belt.
5. Establish a cranked shaft and the pump in situation VMT.
6. Remove an adjusting cap from the pump.
7. Establish an adapter.
8. Establish the tsiferblatny sensor.
9. Establish an arrow of the sensor on 2 mm, then establish the pump piston before situation VMT, rotating a pump pulley.

10. Null the sensor. Slowly turn a back asterisk of the pump counter-clockwise while the sensor will not show 0,42 mm (AVR engine) or 0,32 mm (AAT engine). This preliminary value.
11. Check, that the mark of VMT in the flywheel / leader a disk was combined with an opening in a transmission casing. Holding an asterisk, twirl a fixing bolt of an asterisk till the demanded moment of an inhaling.
12. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine on two turns and again combine marks in the flywheel / leader a disk and a transmission.
13. Check, that the sensor showed 0,35±0,02 mm (AVR engine) or 0,25±0,02 mm (AAT engine). Repeat adjustment if it is necessary.
14. Connect fuel tubes, hoses and wires.
