6.4.11. Fuel injectors
GENERAL INFORMATION

Injectors it is recommended to replace each 100 000 km.

For search of a faulty injector, put rags round injectors and disconnect fuel tubes from injectors in turn.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect fuel hoses from injectors.
2. Turn off nuts of connections of fuel tubes.
3. Turn off nuts of connections of fuel tubes on the injecting pump.
4. Remove fuel tubes.

EXCEPT AAS ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn off a fixing bolt and remove a fixing clip.
2. Remove the plug.
3. Remove injectors.

AAS ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For access to injectors 4 and 5 remove a fixing arm of an extending element.
2. Remove injectors together with holders. Do not unscrew injectors separately.

Installation

EXCEPT AAS ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear an installation site of injectors.
2. Establish new heat-shielding washers.
3. Establish injectors into place. The injector with the needle sensor should be established to the second from the back party of the engine.
4. Establish plugs, clips, washers and tighten fixing nuts or bolts till the demanded moment of an inhaling.

AAS ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear an installation site of injectors.
2. Establish new heat-shielding washers so that the bent party was below.
3. Establish injectors on a place and twirl them till the demanded moment of an inhaling.

ALL ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Establish fuel tubes and hoses.
