3.2.1.11. Epiploons of a cranked shaft

FORWARD EPIPLOON OF THE CRANKED SHAFT

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an asterisk of a cranked shaft.
2. Drill two openings in an epiploon, twist in them screws and take an epiploon.
3. Clean an epiploon groove, oil a new epiploon and establish it into place.

CASING OF THE FORWARD EPIPLOON OF THE CRANKED SHAFT

Laying replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an asterisk of a cranked shaft and the oil pallet.
2. Unscrew bolts and remove an epiploon casing.
3. Remove old laying of a casing, if necessary take an epiploon.
4. Establish new laying of a casing.
5. Establish an epiploon casing on a place and tighten bolts.

BACK EPIPLOON AND CASING OF THE BACK EPIPLOON

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a transmission.
2. Remove a flywheel.
3. Remove an intermediate plate.

4. Remove the oil pallet.

5. Unscrew bolts and remove a casing of a back epiploon.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove an epiploon casing.
7. Remove old and establish new laying of a casing.
8. Back epiploons are usually delivered with a protective plastic cap.
9. Oil a new epiploon and establish it together with a casing.
10. Tighten casing bolts.
