The refueling tank is in the left part of podkapotny space.

Maintenance of normal level of liquid in a refueling tank is important for no-failure operation of the hydraulic booster of a steering drive and a regulator of a road gleam.

On the car with a regulator of a road gleam level of oil depends on loading. Therefore check oil level only at not loaded car as follows.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Let's to the engine work about 2 minutes. Thus forward wheels should be in rectilinear situation.
2. Muffle the engine and at once check oil level.

5. For control unscrew a kolpachkovy stopper with maslomerny the shchupy. Liquid level always should be between "min" and "max" marks. When falling level to a mark of "min" add firm liquid for hydrosystems (number according to the Audi catalog: G 002 000) also check system on tightness.

Consumption of oil the engine – the phenomenon normal. The consumption of oil can make to 1 liter on 1000 km. Therefore it is regular, it is best of all at each filling and before a distant trip, check level of oil of the engine. The arrangement maslomerny щупа is shown on illustrations.

At measurement of level of oil the car should stand horizontally. After switching off of the engine wait some minutes that oil flew down in the pallet.

After that take maslomerny щуп, wipe it a pure fabric and again insert into a nest against the stop. In end again take щуп and read out indications on its marking.

b–oil can be added; it is thus admissible, if after that oil is in a zone and

with – it is necessary to add oil: there is enough, that after that oil rose in a zone b (a corrugated zone)

Prevention

At the raised loading of the engine, for example, at long movement on the highway in the summer, at towage of the trailer or overcoming of passes in the mountain district level of oil to support whenever possible in a zone and, but not above.
