8.2.3. Check of system of ignition

GENERAL INFORMATION

Malfunctions in ignition system are caused by unreliable connection of wires or short circuits, instead of failure of elements of system more often.

At failure detection, first of all, check connecting wires and spark plugs. For complete check of system of ignition it is necessary to address to experts.

If there is an ignition admission, check the ignition coil, a cover of the distributor of ignition, a piece of coal, a begunok, and also wires of a high voltage.

For check of primary winding of the coil of ignition check resistance between plugs 1 and 15 of the socket of connection. For check of a secondary winding – check resistance between the plug 1 and the plug of a wire of a high voltage.
