8.1.3. Accumulator

8.1.3.1. Check and charging

GENERAL INFORMATION

It is recommended to check specific density of electrolit each three months for battery charging definition.

Air temperature is higher 25 ° With
Air temperature is lower 25 ° With
The accumulator is completely charged
1,210-1,230
1,270-1,290
The accumulator is charged for 70 %
1,170-1,190
1,230-1,250
The accumulator is discharged
1,050-1,070
1,110-1,130

Check electrolit density in each section of the accumulator. If the specific density of electrolit between sections differs more, than on 0,040, it is necessary to replace the accumulator.

THE ACCUMULATOR WHICH IS NOT DEMANDING MAINTENANCE

The accumulator does not demand a dolivka of electrolit and check of its density. For check of a condition of the accumulator the indicator serves.

The charging of this type of accumulators demands more time, than a charging of ordinary accumulators. The charging is necessary for carrying out at tension to 13,9–14,9 Volts, the current of a charging should not exceed 25 Amperes.

THE ORDINARY ACCUMULATOR AND THE ACCUMULATOR DEMANDING SMALL MAINTENANCE

Force of a charging current should make 10 % from accumulator capacity. To continue a charging it is necessary until the specific density of electrolit will not raise within 4 hours.

Also for a battery charging it is possible to use the charger for continuous additional charge of the accumulator with a current of a charging of 1,5 Amperes. It is possible to leave such charger included for the night.
