2.1.4. Replacement of engine oil and filter

GENERAL INFORMATION

Regular replacement of oil and the oil filter is one of the most important operations for extension of service life of the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Warm up the engine.
2. Turn off a cap of a drain opening approximately on a turn floor. Establish the container for collecting oil and completely unscrew a cap.
3. Wait, while oil will flow down, moving the container if it is necessary.
4. Wipe a cap and replace a sealing washer if it is necessary. Wipe area round a drain opening and twirl a cap till the demanded moment of an inhaling.
5. Establish the container for collecting oil under the oil filter.
	6. Using the tool for removal of the oil filter if it is necessary, weaken an inhaling of the filter and unscrew it a hand.
7. Clear a filter installation site. Oil a sealing ring of the new filter and establish it on the engine. Reliably twirl the filter a hand.
	8. Turn off a cap of a jellied mouth and get щуп for check of level of oil. Fill in oil of demanded type.
9. Start the engine and check, whether there is no leakage of oil round the oil filter and a cap of a drain opening. Prevention On models with a turbokompressor do not lift engine turns, the alarm bulb of pressure of oil will not go out yet!
