Access to the steering mechanism is complicated at the established engine, and it is difficult for improving.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove forward wheels, the vacuum amplifier and the hydraulic tubes of brake system disturbing to access to the steering mechanism.

2. Unbend the panel of furnish and mark the provision of installation of the universal hinge of a steering column in relation to a shaft of the steering mechanism. Then turn off a coupling nut and get a bolt.

3. Press hydraulic hoses near a tank of system of the hydraulic booster of a steering.

4. Mark hydraulic tubes and disconnect them from the steering mechanism, having turned off bolts of connections of a banjo.

5. Turn off fixing bolts and disconnect steering drafts.

6. If on the car the servotronik system is established, disconnect the socket of connection of the valve of system.

7. Turn off fixing bolts and remove the steering mechanism.

Repair

Examine the steering mechanism on existence of wear or damages, check operation of the reechny mechanism. For repair of the steering mechanism it is necessary to address to experts.

Installation

Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
