3.3.5. Removal and engine installation

Removal

PETROL ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift and fix a forward part of the car.
2. Remove a cowl.
3. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
4. Merge oil and cooling liquid.
5. Remove the top cover of the engine.
6. Disconnect hoses from a radiator and a broad tank.

4-CYLINDER PETROL ENGINES

7. Remove cooling fan of a radiator.

5-CYLINDER PETROL ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
8. Remove a front bumper and the radiator fan.
9. Remove a radiator.
10. In models with the air conditioner, unscrew radiator bolts, unscrew its arm and shift a radiator forward, having fixed it on a support.
11. In the AAR and ANN models, disconnect hoses and lift the receiver cooling liquid in the left part of the engine. Uncover the left leading shaft and disconnect an exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter from a final collector.
12. Disconnect an exhaust pipe from an arm. Disconnect fuel tubes from the fuel distributor.

ALL MODELS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
13. Disconnect all wires disturbing to engine removal.
14. Disconnect a branch pipe connecting the air filter and a throttle.
15. Disconnect tubes of giving and fuel return. Disconnect an accelerator rope.
16. Disconnect hoses from a heater radiator.
17. Disconnect a wire from the switch of lamps of a backing located on a transmission.
18. Remove additional belts.
19. Remove the compressor of the air conditioner, without disconnecting from it hoses.
20. Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering, without disconnecting from it hoses.
21. In engines with an automatic transmission, disconnect tubes of transmission liquid from the oil pallet of the engine.
22. Remove a starter.
23. Unscrew the bolts, fixing a leading disk to the hydrotransformer.
24. Disconnect an exhaust pipe from a collector.
25. Unscrew the bolts, fixing a transmission to the engine. Leave not unscrewed the top bolt.
26. Fix the engine on the lift.
27. Braid nuts of fastenings of the engine.
28. Establish a jack under a transmission.
29. Unscrew the last bolt and remove the engine.
If necessary, remove an intermediate plate of the engine and coupling.

DIESEL ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a cowl.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Merge oil and cooling liquid.
4. Lift and fix a forward part of the car.

4-CYLINDER DIESEL ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
5. Remove the top cover of the engine.
6. Remove cooling fan.
7. Remove an air inlet located on a radiator.
8. Remove the air filter.
9. Disconnect the electromagnetic valve of control of pressure.
10. Remove tubes connecting the heat exchanger both an inlet collector, and the heat exchanger and a turbonagnetatel.
11. Disconnect an exhaust pipe from a turbonagnetatel.

5-CYLINDER DIESEL ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
12. Remove a front bumper and the radiator fan.
13. Remove a radiator.
14. In models with the air conditioner, Unscrew radiator bolts, unscrew its arm and shift a radiator forward, having fixed it on a support.
15. Remove a cross-piece located a back part of a transmission (ABP, AAT, AEL). In the AAS models remove a forward support of the engine.
16. Uncover a driving belt of the fuel pump.
17. Remove the air filter.
18. Remove tubes connecting the heat exchanger both an inlet collector, and the heat exchanger and a turbonagnetatel.
19. Disconnect hoses from an inlet collector and the valve of adjustment of final gases.

20. Disconnect a grounding wire from an arm of the right support of the engine.
21. Disconnect an arm of the fuel filter from an arm of the left support of the engine.

22. Remove a forward support of the engine.

ALL MODELS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
23. Disconnect hoses from a radiator, heads of cylinders and a broad tank.
24. Disconnect wires from the generator.

25. Disconnect the conducting disturbing to removal of the engine.
26. Disconnect tubes of giving and fuel return from the fuel pump.
27. Disconnect an accelerator rope.
28. Disconnect vacuum hoses.
29. Disconnect hoses from a heater radiator.
30. Disconnect wires from the sensor of a speedometer and the switch of light of lamps of a backing.
31. Remove additional belts.
32. Remove the compressor of the air conditioner, without disconnecting from it hoses.
33. Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering, without disconnecting from it hoses.
34. Unscrew bolts and remove a pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster.
35. Unscrew bolts and remove the pump.
36. In engines with an automatic transmission, disconnect tubes of transmission liquid from the oil pallet of the engine.
37. Remove a starter.
38. Unscrew the bolts, fixing a leading disk to the hydrotransformer.
39. Disconnect an exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter from a final collector.

40. Unscrew the bolts, fixing a transmission to the engine. Leave not unscrewed the top bolt.
41. Fix the engine on the lift.
42. Braid a nut of a support and remove washers.
43. Establish a jack under a transmission.

44. Unscrew the last bolt and remove the engine.
45. If necessary remove coupling.

Installation

ALL ENGINES

Installation is carried out upside-down removals, thus do not forget to grease a shlitsa of a leading shaft of the engine with greasing with high temperature of melting.
